physical

intense day... I have a serious bout of vertigo happening to me. i have only been able to just lie down as still as possible. it's from my car accident; my head trauma. once in a while i'll get some vertigo which feels horrible. it always passes and i am so grateful for this insignificant side effect from the accident. i have been reminding myself that this will pass.

i walked myself outside and sat in the sun for a few minutes. as i was walking back into the house i sat down at the piano. I began writing a new song yesterday and was eager to work on it. i don't want this vertigo to stop me from living. sometimes i feel like it does. it doesn't have to.

well, it felt so freeing! i'm grateful i was led to the piano and took the opportunity to play. it got me out of feeling down and limited, you know? i felt my feelings come up and words and music and everything was emptying from me. i finished the song and it helped me. my vertigo feels lighter. i feel lighter. i have a song with me now, to mark that moment. i love music, i love being alive, i love that there is beauty that surprises and hurts and calms.

thank you, for sharing this with me. i hope you feel your feelings and never be ashamed of them. we are all allowed.

with love....
